So Many Puppies, So Little Time

Welcome to Day One!

Good morning!

It has been an amazing 24 hours. Our nine keikis are doing well, as is their sweet mama. We are starting to distinguish between a "You're sitting on me mommy" and an "I'm hungry" cry. And there are less of the "No, seriously, you are stepping on me" cries as Jalapeño is learning to walk a little more delicately. We are all settling down and getting used to each other. And I got two hours of sleep this morning. Piña also finally got some sleep.

Amazingly, the puppies are starting to show their little personalities already. Let's do a quick spot light on lil Ms. Blue and lil Ms. Green.

Ms. Green was born sixth. She weighs in today at a solid pound.

And now we introduce Lil Ms. Blue! She came to us seventh in line and weighs in at 15. 5 ounces.
