PUP-NADO!

A lot can change in a week.

For example, the weather.

Just about everywhere I have lived I have been told that if you do not like the weather, wait five minutes.

Well, this is actually true of the Big Island. T'will be raining out of one window and sunny out of the other.

Of your car!

Where we live, it is almost always sunny and beautiful. And now, it is ridden with pupnados!

Swirling dervish of pup-ctivity!

The puppies have lost their newborn composure. They are wide-eyed and excited about being in the world. They are especially excited to stalk see Mama.

Here is a video that clearly shows how excited the puppies are to see Jalapeño, and how she is doing her best to not get caught in their vortex of sharp baby teeth and gruppy claws.

So we help Jalapeño out by having her only feed a couple of the smaller babes on the couch.

Estoy un poquito cansaita...

And on the lanai....

Ocean-front nursing!

It can still get tiresome though.

A lil downward dog to stretch and help pass the time.

With the advent of solid food, we encountered the advent of the gruppy grubby puppy.

Coated with kibble....

All that chewing makes them tired!

Synchronized gruppy napping!

With the new dining infrastructure, the puppies are branching out and finding new uses for old bowls.

Orthopedic pillows with extra neck support....

Foot bath/step stool/wading bowl.

And boy, are they growing!

I'm getting big!

And growing....

How are YOU doin' Mr. Teal?!!

The puppies also got to experience the outdoors for the first time.

What are these porous rocks under my tootsies! They are really quite exfoliating!

Outdoor picnics are now possible!

It does get quite warm, does it not?

There's Mama! How about a snack?

Yeah, No!

And finally some shots, just for fun!

I'm gonna need an adjustment after this nap!

Its tough work being a puppy!

Oh that light does get in my eyes!

Lots of exploring to do....

Little Runt, who is no longer the runt, getting some tail!

Is that kibble in that bowl? It is a blur to me!

Outta the way, I'm hungry!
